Alana is a digital illustrator and concept artist who goes by CD Illustrations online. She harbors a deep love of birds, fantasy, and animation that seep into her work which intertwines grounded emotion with whimsy in stylized character-drive work. Alana gained a deep appreciation for art from the media she engaged with as a child, such as Pokémon, Winx Club and Avatar the Last Airbender. She hopes to one day hopes pass along that inspiration to the next generation of artists, by pursuing concept art in games and animation. She gained her BFA in Illustration from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2026 with a concentration in concept art, giving her experience with character, creature, and environmental design. Currently, Alana is developing a fantasy western concept, blending western aesthetics and fantasy elements alongside themes of personal growth, environmentalism, and how we define ourselves.
